Bigfork Parks & Gardens
The 1,009,356 acre Bob Marshall Wilderness is located in Northwestern Montana just east of Bigfork. The Wilderness is noted for its excellent hunting, fishing, scenery, and geology. The area is highlighted by a huge escarpment known as the "Chinese Wall". The wall averages 1,000 feet in height and extends 22 miles along the Continental Divide. The Bob Marshall Wilderness Area is located in the Flathead, Lolo and Lewis and Clark National Forests in Montana. Activities include fishing, hiking and rafting.
Located just outside Bigfork, on the northeast shore of Flathead Lake. Visitors enjoy camping, walking and boating in the park. Nature walks over the rocky shoreline to the cliffs are popular and offer excellent views of the lake.
